Daim and his never-ending lies: The one about Jho Low

TTF: Daim Zainuddin revealed yesterday that Jho Low attempted to contact him.

If you remember, on the 21st of July 2018, Raja Petra Kamarudin wrote (in red):

Clare Rewcastle Brown of Sarawak Report was not supposed to run the story that Jho Low had been detained or arrested in China pending Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s trip to that country next month. And this is why a very upset Mahathir said Sarawak Report’s story that Jho Low had been arrested in China is fake news.

Tun Daim Zainuddin was supposed to have a secret meeting with Jho Low and since he was going to China they agreed to meet up there. Maybe Clare was not too happy that Daim and Jho Low were meeting and that is why she sabotaged the whole thing by coming out with that fake news of Jho Low being arrested in China.

Mahathir and Daim want to make a deal with Jho Low. If he turns ‘state witness’ and helps nail Najib Tun Razak, then Jho Low will be given immunity from prosecution and may even be able to keep most of the money he stole. Maybe he would have to return only a small portion of what he stole to give an impression that the deal benefits the Malaysian taxpayers.

So you see, Daim actually lied to us.

As a matter of fact, he dished out a mouthful of fabrications in front of cameras on the 6th of September 2018 (READ HERE).

The lies were part of damage control strategies contrived by him and Mahathir to offset the trust deficit they’re facing following the success of our truth campaigns.

These campaigns have thwarted plans by Daim to conceal the diplomatic disaster that was Mahathir’s China trip and the Chinese president’s refusal to loan us USD40 billion.

The campaigns also exposed Mahathir for the liar he was when it was revealed that the United States (US) never once contacted him regarding Equanimity or spoke to him about the yacht being purchased using funds stolen from 1MDB.

So take it from me – Daim was never really contacted by Low or Low’s grandfather or grandmother.

On the contrary, it was Daim who communicated with Low via Skype and arranged for them to meet in China.

On the 8th of July 2018, I wrote (in red):

The fact that “neither Malaysia nor Singapore formally requested” Low’s arrest simply means he isn’t “formally” wanted by Malaysia and is not officially in “hiding.”

As a matter of fact, the Government of Malaysia admitted that it knew where Low was and confirmed that the billionaire agreed to cooperate.

So why call him a “fugitive?”

And even if he were one, why did Dr Mahathir Mohamad attempt to negotiate terms with him via a special Skype session in the Prime Minister’s office?

Is Mahathir going to deny that he and Daim Zainuddin asked Low to testify against Najib in such a way that the former premier would be made to look like the person who “masterminded the 1MDB scandal?”

Daim and Low have reached an agreement of sorts and are now trying to hoodwink the rakyat.

On the 24th of August 2018, the media was abuzz with reports of how the the Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID) and the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) filed criminal charges against Low and his father.

According to newsmen, the charges related to funds Low was alleged to have stolen from 1MDB and channelled into his bank accounts in the US, Singapore and the Cayman Islands.

However, the press seemed to skip the part about our laws not having provisions to try such cases, given that the cases involved crimes committed outside Malaysian soil.

What this means, is that the Attorney-General’s Chambers may have wilfully filled charges against Low with mala fide intent to deliver the impression that the Government of Malaysia (GoM) had proof money was stolen from 1MDB.

It follows, that the Attorney-General of Malaysia, Tommy Thomas, failed in his duty as principal legal advisor to government by not extending the required counsel to prevent those charges from being filed by his Chambers.

But never mind that.

On the 5th of September 2018, Daim told TV3 (see news item below) that Low masterminded the whole 1MDB affair, meaning, the ‘fugitive’ billionaire should rightfully be the GoM’s prime suspect, not Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak.

But what’s happening today is the exact opposite.

We at TTF discovered that the GoM has yet to formally communicate with the government of China regarding Low’s whereabouts despite reports indicating that Bukit Aman communicated with Interpol Macau to seek its assistance.

A check by our team revealed that the so-called direct communication that was said to have taken place never really happened nor was it ever planned.

As a matter of fact, both Mahathir and Daim never once included Low in their agendas despite having gone all the way to China, a country the GoM repeatedly accused of conspiring with the billionaire to launder funds.

And here, we’re being told that Low masterminded the whole 1MDB affair and is high on the wanted list.

Can you now see how the GoM is toying with your minds?

Do I still need to tell you that Low and his father entered an agreement with Daim and Mahathir to throw Najib under the bus?

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Daim Zainuddin today revealed that controversial millionaire, Low Taek Jho or Jho Low had attempted to contact him several times to help resolve issues relating to the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal.

The chairman of the Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) said Jho Low had telephoned him even before he went to China in July.

“When Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad wanted to send me to China, Jho Low contacted him, he wanted to talk to me but I turned him down, he called but I told him to speak to my representative.

“He (Jho Low) said he could assist (on matters relating to 1MDB) (but) before this I have said in the first media conference with the CEP, that if he is not guilty, he should return, that night he called me,” he said in an exclusive interview on Soal Rakyat aired over TV3 last night.

Daim said that since the Pakatan Harapan government took over the administration of the country, those involved in the 1MDB scandal were willing to become witnesses to explain what actually transpired.

“Jho Low is certainly the mastermind, we have yet to complete the investigation but we receive new evidence every day which is shocking. Jho Low in involved for the link with Abu Dhabi, link with (Saudi) Arabia, America, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland.

“The whole world knows, CNN, BBC, Chinese news (media) know, even Africa knows. But here, even in Parliament one cannot speak, no transparency, what is the point of bluffing because the truth will emerge later, want to cover up with the hope that if they (Barisan Nasional) win (in the 14th General Election), it can be covered up,”he said.

Meanwhile, replying to a question whether he conspired to bring down Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as claimed by certain parties, Daim said: “I am already old, don’t even have a party…Umno sacked me, we are not involved with other people’s party, the people do not know that Anwar and I are old friends.”

Daim expressed confidence that Anwar will take over the top administration as planned.

“He (Anwar) has his own strength the dissatisfied group is only looking for capital to create a story that there is purportedly a conspiracy and (they) are looking for influence using the issue (that there is purportedly an effort to bring down Anwar),”he added.
