“Not once, however, did he tell Saddiq to lodge a police report, let alone to conspire with Free Malaysia Today (FMT) to blow the whistle. But that’s just what Saddiq did. I am told, the PPBM youth chief thought he’d be doing Mahathir a huge favor, not knowing that a police report would serve only to blow the USD5 million story up to kingdom come”
THE THIRD FORCE
Last Tuesday, the 20th of June 2017, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman became the buzz in media when he lodged a police report against Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK). According to the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) youth chief, RPK had done him wrong by weaving him through a plot that did not exist.
The plot Saddiq was referring to pertained a recent announcement by the United States (US) Department of Justice (DoJ), which RPK claimed was known to Saddiq long before it happened. According to the blogger, Saddiq met Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Daim Zainuddin to plan the announcement before the youth chief took the matter up with his Exco.
Now, that seemed to bother Saddiq a lot.
So bothered was he, he told the media that RPK was attempting to cast the spotlight away from the announcement to prevent people from scrutinizing the DoJ’s report. But that made very little sense to me. The facts is, the DoJ furnished no evidence whatsoever to back its claim that funds stolen from 1MDB were used to purchase assets in the US.
By that reasoning, it would make very little sense for RPK to cast the spotlight away from the DoJ announcement or its report. As a matter of fact, If I were RPK, I would want Malaysians to read the report to convince them that the DoJ had a sinister agenda directed against the Government of Malaysia.
But never mind that.
On the day of announcement, the US attorney for the Central District of California, Sandra R. Brown, gallantly declared that the DoJ was seeking to recover assets worth a little over half a billion dollars. One minute, Brown seemed so sure the lawsuit reflected another chapter in a “multi-year, multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme” involving funds stolen from 1MDB.
However, the very next minute, the same Brown referred to the same “multi-year, multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme” as an allegation, meaning, even the DoJ had yet to confirm if funds were stolen from 1MDB. In other words, Brown did not know what she was saying.
But apparently, Saddiq did.
He was so sure Brown had the smoking gun, he took it upon himself to ‘prevent’ RPK from confusing the people by lodging a police report. But the report really had nothing to do with RPK. The truth is, Saddiq was trying to cast the spotlight away from me by giving the impression that he was bothered by RPK’s claims.
But why me?
Well, on the 17th of June 2017, I made public – for the very first time –that Dr. Mahathir Mohamad channeled USD5 million to the Clinton Foundation, a fifth of which wended its way to the coffers of persons linked to former US Attorney General Loretta Lynch (READ HERE). In the days that followed, I went on to make a whole bunch of claims (links below) that I’m told some found “difficult to swallow.”
As much as that may be difficult to swallow, it’s a truth Mahathir does not want you to know. As a matter of fact, so afraid is he of the truth, he got in touch with Saddiq in the wee hours of Tuesday morning to discuss “what to do about The Third Force.” The former premier was terribly upset that the USD5 million story had put to waste the countless hours and millions he spent to plan and execute the DoJ announcement.
Not once, however, did he tell Saddiq to lodge a police report, let alone to conspire with Free Malaysia Today (FMT) to blow the whistle. But that’s just what Saddiq did. I am told, the PPBM youth chief thought he’d be doing Mahathir a huge favor, not knowing that a police report would serve only to blow the USD5 million story up to kingdom come.
Which brings me to my point – since the story is now strewn all over the internet, why not lodge a police report against me? What’s stopping you, Saddiq? Are you afraid of me? If you are, then, why don’t you get Dr. M to trigger action pursuant to law against me for all the ‘preposterous’ claims I’ve made against him?
Is he a coward?
