The Jerusalem Chronicles: Ganesh Sahathevan and Lim Kit Siang, weapons of mass deception

“Back in 2002, Mahathir got the late Tan Seri Megat Junid Megat Ayub to bribe some US based lobbyists millions of ringgit just to secure a photo opportunity with George W Bush. Now, the last I checked, Bush himself, along with former US presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, vowed to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But you don’t see Kit Siang’s RBA accusing Mahathir of being anti-Islam now, do you?”

THE THIRD FORCE

Ever since Donald J Trump declared that the United States (US) recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, there have been a spate of outrageous postings by social media buffs alleging that the current US president is racist and anti-Islam. While I do respect the people’s right to an opinion, I’d like to point out that the very demeanour you guys are demonstrating is the main reason Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak is currently the subject of an elaborate smear campaign spearheaded by Dr Mahathir Mohamed and fueled by Lim Kit Siang.

The two opposition leaders are seasoned politicians who mastered the art of deception fighting each other over the years. The harder they fought, the better became their arsenal as they sharpened their skills of persuasion. When they decided to join forces, they knew every trick in the book to trap gullible fellows like you into their paradigms of perception and world of make belief.

Which is why, you now have fellows like Ganesh Sahathevan telling you that Trump was forced to expand his powers just to resolve the 1MDB issue. Ganesh was paid USD1 million by a member of team Mahathir to float the idea (READ FULL STORY HERE) while Kit Siang prepped the Red Bean Army (RBA) with one-liners that accused Trump of being anti-Islam.

See the game?

While Mahathir poisons the already shallow and tainted minds of Pakatan Harapan supporters, the senior Lim targets Barisan Nasional proponents who accused him of being anti-Islam. This way, the former premier gets to convince oppositionists that US-Malaysia relations are not as good as Najib claims while Kit Siang tells Barisan supporters that it is Najib who is anti-Islam for ‘leaning’ towards Trump.

Yes, they’re each doing what they do best, which is to target the respective audiences they targetted during their years of fighting. That is to say, Mahathir is attempting to hypnotise Pakatan supporters while Kit Siang hoodwinks Barisan proponents. Back in the eighties and nineties, they were doing it to rip each other’s throats apart. Today, they’re doing it in tandem to stretch their support base.

But the two seem to have forgotten a very small detail.

Back in 2002, Mahathir got the late Tan Sri Megat Junid Megat Ayub to bribe some US based lobbyists millions of ringgit just to secure a photo opportunity with the then US president, George W Bush. Now, the last I checked, Bush himself, along with former US presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, vowed to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel (SEE VIDEO BELOW). But you don’t see Kit Siang’s RBA accusing Mahathir of being anti-Islam now, do you?

And if the video isn’t compelling enough to convince you what a hypocrite Kit Siang is, I suggest that you read the testimony given by the late Megat Junid’s son, Dato’ Megat Fairuz Junaidi. On the 16th of September 2017, the junior Megat confirmed that his father received instructions from Mahathir to bribe the lobbyists before telling New Straits Times that the bribe was meant to boost the former premier’s image.

So what do we have here?

On the one hand, you have Kit Siang’s RBA infusing Malay voters with the idea that Najib is anti-Islam for supporting the Trump administration. On the other hand, you have the same Mahathir bribing US lobbyists for a photo opportunity with Bush who, like our friend Trump, declared that the US recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Now, did Najib ever bribe his way into the White House?

No.

And yet, Kit Siang’s RBA is training its guns on the Prime Minister. See what a hypocrite the senior Lim is?
