The first day of Parti Amanah Negara’s (Amanah) fourth national congress held at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) saw leadership committee members elected, along with party speaker, deputy speakers and two auditors.

Khalid Abdul Samad emerged top among the 27 elected committee members, garnering 786 votes.

The 27 elected committee members and 14 state chiefs convened at the Pegasus Hotel last night to decide on the party president, deputy, and three vice chiefs.

A total of 822 delegates from 154 areas took part in the selection process.

Khalid Abdul Samad emerged top among the 27 elected committee members, garnering 786 votes.




Among those elected were Mohamad Sabu, Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, and Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa (see full list below).

Yuhaizad Abdullah was elected as speaker, while Adnan Saad as deputy speaker.

Meanwhile, Ali Maasin and Sheikh Khuzaifah Sheik Abu Bakar won unopposed for the posts of auditors.
