Dear Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak,
Re: Altantuya Murder Investigations
I loved you as Prime Minister because you were the best we ever had. I still love you as a human being and will do everything in my capacity to see to it that you, and only you, are treated fairly, that Dr Mahathir Mohamad goes by the rule of law when dealing with you.
But be careful what you wish for.
My advice is that you retract the directive you gave your aide with regards to the report you want lodged against you (see news item below). Should your aide proceed, you’re not going to like what transpires next, as I assure you, that ‘the other side’ does not have your best interest at heart.
Unless you’re sure that nobody from your side blundered, let Mahathir make the first move before you consider lodging a report. I can assure you, that though you committed no wrong, all it takes is a stupid move by someone close to you to trigger suspicion against you. If it is a report you’re seeking, get your guy to lodge one regarding the Teoh Beng Hock case instead.
I hope you consider what I said with an open heart and mind.
Regards,
Raggie Jessy
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak has told one of his aides to lodge a police report against him tomorrow.
The former prime minister said this was to allow “police under the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government” to investigate every allegation of murder made against him, including that of Mongolian model Altantuya Shaariibuu and deputy public prosecutor Datuk Anthony Kevin Morais.
He said the decision was made after DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang failed to get the authorities to investigate the allegations.
“(Lim) has been twisting and turning, trying to confuse his own supporters, claiming that I wrote (on Facebook) that he had once said there was no need for the cases to be investigated anymore. In actual fact, I have many times asked for the cases to be investigated, considering PH is now the government.
“All my statements challenging (Lim) are on my Facebook page. It isn’t difficult for you to check whether I had said (Lim) had declared that there was no need to reopen the murder investigations.
“For the fifth time, I urge (Lim) to do what he wanted last week, that is to say to begin a special investigation into all these cases, but I think I am just wasting my time,” he said in a Facebook posting tonight.
