Raja Petra Kamarudin, a dear friend and mentor, died in the United Kingdom on Monday night.
This is according to an FMT report, which states that his death was confirmed by his brother, Raja Idris, this morning.
“It is with great sadness that I am informing you that my loving brother, Raja Petra Kamarudin, has just passed away at 11.26pm UK time on Monday Sept 9 in Manchester, UK,” Raja Idris reportedly said.
I was taken aback upon reading about his passing. It deeply saddens me and The Third Force (TTF), and as a measure of respect, there will be no further publications for the day.
Salam takziah diucapkan buat keluarga Raja Petra Kamarudin. Walaupun ujian ini begitu pahit dirasakan, semoga kita semua yakin dengan janjiNya buat hambaNya yang soleh dan solehah. InsyaAllah, syurga buat arwah.
