Annuar Musa (Team A) finally admits what I have been saying all along

“I will expose Team A’s true intentions at 8.35pm tonight via Raggie Jessy Rithaudeen (Facebook link, click here), in what amounts to part 2 of an ongoing series of exposes leading to the 15th general election.”

UMNO Team A member Tan Sri Annuar Musa admitted today that the 15th general election may be around the corner.

In a report by the Malay Mail Online, the UMNO secretary-general was quoted as saying the party’s supreme council met last night to discuss the possibility of a looming snap poll.

In other words, Team A has admitted what I have been saying since last year – that the 15th general election will be held in 2020.

Annuar, however, refused to give more details related to the “emergency” meeting.

“But we discussed it in general terms, nothing specific,” he was quoted as saying.

According to the daily, Annuar added that snap polls were being looked at as an option to counter an alleged attempt by Pakatan Harapan (PH) to wrestle back power.

This comes amid speculation that Pakatan Harapan Plus is preparing to boot the four-month-old Perikatan Nasional coalition out of power.

Pakatan Harapan Plus (PH Plus) refers to a loose alliance between existing Pakatan Harapan component parties and an affiliate block led by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The block comprises WARISAN and several disputed leaders from PPBM and is said to enjoy the support of political leaders and Members of Parliament in reasonable numbers from Sarawak, PPBM and UMNO’s Team B.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Annuar Musa and Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman are with Team A, whereas Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is with Team B.

While Team B enjoys majority support from UMNO Members of Parliament, division and branch leaders, a bulk of the party’s protagonists, including those appointed to the supreme council, are with Team A.

It is Team A that paved the way towards the establishment of a political pact between PAS and UMNO.

However, the ensuing coalition, Muafakat Nasional, has yet to be registered with the Registrar of Societies (RoS).

Team A is said to be gunning for control of all states in the peninsula of Malaysia in the event a general election is called.

Members of the team are said to be aware that Perikatan Nasional and (or) Muafakat Nasional may not win the general election at federal level should PH Plus nominate either Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad or Mukhriz Mahathir as Prime Minister.

The mission, it seems, has always been to capture all peninsula states so that the federal government would have a tough time administering the peninsula due to a lack of corporation from states despite having to fund these states.

It is said to be a long range mission by Team A to recapture Putrajaya by the 16th general election, the first stage being to control said states before gaining control of the federal.

Team A is also said to have cajoled Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin into establishing Perikatan Nasional for the sole purpose of riding on his influence in Johor to recapture the state.

However, the plan seems to have backfired following Muhyiddin’s failure to secure enough crossovers to bring about a coalition “stronger than Pakatan Harapan.”

This put a dent in his credibility, and not to mention, pissed PPBM grassroots off for many reasons (refer to link below for reasons) and has since split the Malay-Muslim vote in Johor quite badly.

On the 5th of June 2020, I wrote:

Team B is not going to stand still and allow team A to get its way – one or two of its leaders have also been involved in negotiations with Mahathir’s men.

The culmination of these negotiations appears to be leading towards a “third force,” which, according to an insider, works with or without Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim or his men.

The “third force” seems to have the support of Sabah Members of Parliament and a majority from Sarawak, as well as the consent of most DAP and AMANAH Members of Parliament, including fence-sitters from PKR.

This has led to a positive shift in MP support towards Mahathir. But for some reason, the elder statesman does not seem to want to move just yet.

One rumour has it that when he does, it will be at gun point, with mass resignations of ministers and parliamentary representatives to trigger a general election.

Another has it that he is keeping his cards close to his chest and is waiting to see if parliament convenes this July.

But an insider from Anwar’s inner circle has rubbished the latter of the two claims, admitting that Mahathir has majority support and is about to strike.

One way or the other, whether or not the insider is telling the truth, all this is happening not because Pakatan Harapan is ‘buying’ Members of Parliament, but because the Members of Parliament are themselves disillusioned with Perikatan Nasional.

And the reason they’re disillusioned has to do with the irreversible crack in UMNO, brought about by a cartel of power-crazed maniacs whose only goal is to ride on PAS and PPBM to gain complete control of the federal government.
