Perak PKR chairman Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak is in hot soup following a police report in which Farhash is alleged to have roughed up a boxing trainer in Ampang, Selangor before an armed assault ensued.
According to Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat, the assailants were armed with helmets, knives and chairs.
Farhash happens to be Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s political secretary. On the 22ndof August 2019, PKR’s Disciplinary Board ruled not to take any action against Farhash for making statements related to a sex video allegedly featuring Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali.
The decision rubbed salt onto the wounds of MPs who were already pissed at Anwar for hinting that Azmin needed to resign.

Muhammad Syafiq Bin Jamaludeen, 29, is said to have lodged a report with the Pandan Indah police station, alleging that Farhash had approached him at the Kompleks Sukan Arena All Stars in Taman Dagang Permai, Ampang around 9pm and pushed his face for unknown reasons.
An armed assault ensued thereafter. According to Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat, the assailants were armed with helmets, knives and chairs.
“Subsequently, a scuffle broke out between the two and the building management asked both men to leave the area.
“However, when the victim had gone to the motorcycle parking lot of the sports complex, he was set upon by a group of 10 men who attacked him with various weapons,” Fadzil said.
Fadzil also said the victim, who was accompanied by three friends at the time, attempted to break the fight but failed.
Following the attack, Syafiq is said to have claimed he sustained tissue injuries to the hip, various parts of the body and crotch.

One of the statements, made on the 18thof June 2019, saw Farhash asking Azmin to make an exit as PKR deputy chief as the video was causing a lot of problems in the party.
The statement was seen to be an attempt by Farhash to ‘clarify’ what Anwar meant when insinuating that Azmin needed to resign.
The insinuation earned Anwar the wrath of many PKR Members of Parliament who were pissed that he did not defend Azmin despite the years Azmin spent defending him even after the courts found him guilty of sodomy.
The decision taken by the PKR Disciplinary Board rubbed salt onto the wounds of these MPs who were further incensed that Anwar was using the party to protect his men who they felt were tasked with attacking Azmin.
The whole episode completely tilted the axis of support in Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s favour when the majority in both PKR and parliament began siding with Azmin.
