TTF: The Third Force congratulates the MCA on its move to shut down service centres nationwide (see news item below). As it is, these centres are sore points for Barisan Nasional as the MCA has actively been sabotaging the coalition since 2007 with the help of Ling Liong Sik and lawyer Matthias Chang.
The MCA should go the next step by shutting itself down altogether. The Chinese no longer have confidence in its leadership and know that the party is a front for associations, temples and triads led by Dato’ Seri Chan Kong Choy. Choy is pandering to Liong Sik’s whims and is currently the DAP’s whipping boy. It’s about time we buried the name MCA once and for all to avoid the party from being ripped apart towards GE15.
The Third Force will emerge as a force to be reckoned with not long from now. We invite all MCA members to join our cause as ours is towards a greater Malaysia. I think it’s best that Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai did Barisan the honours by announcing the MCA’s exit from the coalition. MCA or no MCA, The Third Force is likely to emerge as the voice of the commoner and will sink the MCA one way or the other.
PETALING JAYA: MCA’s service centres nationwide are shutting down due to a lack of funds after Barisan Nasional’s loss of federal power.
A branch leader said the service centres could no longer match the party’s claim of providing services to the community as funds were no longer coming, a news portal reported today.
“The voters don’t want us anymore, there’s no point in service,” The Malaysian Insight quoted said a Bandar Tun Razak party officer as saying. “Furthermore, we are now the opposition; we don’t have the funds to keep the service centres running.”
“Our job now is to keep check on the government. Now, if the people have any problems, they should go look for DAP and PKR, not MCA.”
The centres had helped members of the community solve their problems, ranging from those who could not get identity cards to issues related to the local authorities.
