And this is true.
These days, whenever you squeeze Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Lim Kit Siang screams. It’s kindda like what you’d expect when a guy gets kicked in the nuts. Call me crazy, call me rude – but the senior Lim’s recent blog posting is proof that Mahathir has turned into one of his testicles.
On the 30th of November 2017, Kit Siang wrote in his blog that the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the Nineties Forex Scandal (NFC) “had not found any element of corruption,” meaning, there was no proof anyone had acted immorally and/or dishonestly. Upset that the tables have been turned on his testicle – I mean, Mahathir – he insisted that unlike 1MDB, the NFC “did not cause Malaysia international infamy (very bad reputation) and ignominy (humiliation).”
Yes, the senior Lim is now screaming – or squealing – that the RCI has given authorities grounds to launch an in-depth probe into claims that Bank Negara lost RM31.5 billion through forex trade under Mahathir’s reign. The fact that his testicle was ‘kicked’ by the RCI has hurt him so badly, he’s resorted to saying the exact opposite of what he told parliament twenty-three years ago.
