Following is an article published by NST Online complete with responses by TTF (in blue):

SEMENYIH: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed that Datuk Marzuki Yahya remained as the party’s secretary-general.

Muhyiddin said despite being dragged through the mud from the allegation of bogus academic credentials, he said the explanation given by the Foreign Deputy Minister was sufficient to retain his post.

“People can say whatever they want, what’s important is that he (Marzuki) has stated his facts.

“He gave sufficient explanation on that matter and that’s all we need to know to retain his post as the party’s secretary-general. As for his cabinet post, that’s the prerogative of the Prime Minister,” he said.

TTF: What explanation?

Not only did Marzuki lie about his qualifications, he lied under oath when being sworn in as Dewan Negara Senator.

Not many are aware, that prior to the swearing in ceremony, all MPs and Senators are required to hand in a bundle of documents that include their certificates and curriculum vitae.

Should any of those documents contain untruths, the MP or Senator in question is construed to have lied under oath and is deemed in contempt of Parliament and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

So what explanation is Muhyiddin talking about?

Why not check the bundle instead and show us the stamped version Marzuli submitted prior to his swearing in as Senator?

He said this at a press conference following a visit to the camp of the 4th batallion of General Operations Force’s (PGA) here today.

Also present was deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim

Recently, political activist Muhsin Abdul Latheef lodged a police report to initiate investigation against Marzuki over his alleged fake academic qualification.

Muhyiddin said Pakatan Harapan (PH), particularly PPBM, was steadfast in upholding integrity and honesty.

“Telling the truth is part of our basic principles, and I believe in this. There are people who are not satisfied with us, but what’s important is that an expalantion was given,” he said.

TTF: What truth?

Care to share that truth?

And why are you jumping the gun?

Why not wait for PDRM to conclude investigations into Muhsin’s report?
