Former DAP assemblyman Ronnie Loh, despite now being in Tan Sri Musa Aman’s camp, has admitted that the DAP never controlled Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Listing this as among reasons he quit the party, Ronnie, who was criticised for supporting former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, claims the DAP is “all talk and no action.”

Ronnie said he was eager to contribute to the people since joining DAP in 2012 and even though he did not hold any position until 2018 when he was appointed as a nominated Sabah assemblyman.

Ronnie also said he reserved the right to take legal action against anyone who spread false information and lies about him such as alleging that he had accepted bribes.

PETALING JAYA: Former DAP assemblyman Ronnie Loh, despite now being in Tan Sri Musa Aman’s camp, has admitted that the DAP never controlled Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Listing this as among reasons he quit the party, Ronnie, who was criticised for supporting former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, claims the DAP is “all talk and no action.”

Ronnie listed three other reasons he quit and he said it was neither of sudden anger nor by sudden impulse.

Firstly, he said: “Although the State Committees were from the same team, there were factional struggles, intrigue, power tussle, all sorts of situation causing disunity and division.”

Secondly, Ronnie said ever since the change in government, DAP still did not have any direction and was unable to honour its election promises to voters.

Lastly, Ronnie said he said the party was being “marginalized” and not respected by their allies in Sabah.

Ronnie said he was eager to contribute to the people since joining DAP in 2012 and even though he did not hold any position until 2018 when he was appointed as a nominated Sabah assemblyman.

However, he conceded that he had no real power and could not provide the best service to the people.

He insisted that the party and the government have the same responsibility of helping the people and working for their benefit.
