Ganabatirau among four DAP assemblymen granted audience with Selangor ruler

TTF: Four Pakatan Harapan (PH) state assemblymen, including V. Ganabatirau, who previously accused Muslims of stoking the flames of unrest during the Sri Maha Mariaman temple melee, were granted an audience with the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, at Istana Kayangan here, today.

It is understood that the meeting was to discuss the unilateral conversion of minors bill, which was reportedly rejected by Selangor Speaker Ng Suee Lim in the last state assembly legislative sitting.

When approached, Ganabatirau refused to comment on the discussion.

“An official statement will be issued,” he told reporters.
