PUTRAJAYA: Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador today said he was shocked by the emergence of a second sex video allegedly involving a federal cabinet minister and a deputy minister’s aide.

“Really? I am shocked. I believe I will be briefed by my officer(s) on this new video,” said Hamid after attending the Agricuture and Agro-Based Ministry’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration here on Thursday.

The IGP said the police would take the necessary action to investigate the case based on the police report lodged.

“So far, I only know of one police report being lodged (on the matter). With the police report, we will act on it and that is my comment for now,” Hamid said.

Asked if the police would summon the two men allegedly featured in the sex video, he said the matter was still being investigated.

“To summon or not summon (anyone) will depend on the progress of the investigations.

“After a police report has been made, an investigation paper will be opened and investigations will proceed to complete the report,” Hamid said, declining to elaborate on the case.

“Actions will be taken once a police report has been made just like what we have done for other cases.”

Asked if action could be taken against those who spread the sex video, Hamid replied: “Yes.”
