Police are closing in on the “alliance” behind the sex video implicating a minister, says Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador.

“No (we don’t know who is the mastermind yet), but there are hints (bayang-bayang) of an alliance (pakatan) behind it,” he said to a press conference at the Blok Melati police quarters in Keramat Wangsa Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (July 13).

“On the investigation itself, we have sent the investigation papers to the deputy public prosecutor twice. Each time, it has been sent back for further investigation, the latest was on Thursday,” he said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are closing in on the “alliance” behind the sex video implicating a minister, says Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador.

The Inspector-General of police said that there are hints of an alliance behind the spreading of the viral video on social media.

“No (we don’t know who is the mastermind yet), but there are hints (bayang-bayang) of an alliance (pakatan) behind it,” he said to a press conference at the Blok Melati police quarters in Keramat Wangsa Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (July 13).

He was speaking to the press after attending a Hari Raya dinner function with about 800 of the residents at the quarters.

Abdul Hamid said that the police were still working on completing its investigation into the sex video.

“We are still waiting for lab results to determine the authenticity of the video.
