If Barisan builds you a home, Pakatan will immediately promise you a castle

TTF: There’s a vital difference between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan. While the ruling coalition is performance oriented, the opposition coalition is just that – an opposition coalition.

Pakatan never presents solutions, but promises. If the government does A, they promise to do B. If the government goes ahead and does B, they then promise to do C. Never ONCE do they tell you how they’re going to accomplish B or C. Barisan, on the other hand, does less talking and more walking for the sake of the people.

The Malaysian Observer demonstrates this beautifully:

While the DAP-led Pakatan opposition has promised everything under the sun to get get votes; Barisan Nasional has been proving that actions speak louder than words.

Yes, we all have heard or read the DAP-led opposition say that they would get rid of the GST only to later say they would keep it then turn around again to say that they would scrap it.  Quick pass the Dramamine.

They have even talked about getting rid of tolls, to investigate BMF and what seems like a plan to storm the Sungai Bulow prison to release one of the inmates; so much for the victim’s rights.

It seems that it is easy for them to talk a good show and offer the world when in actuality, they have nothing to offer.

Unlike the DAP-led opposition that continues to dig in their bag of tricks to offer yet another empty promise; Barisan Nasional is taking a different approach.

Barisan Nasional does not seek out the media to talk about what they plan to do for the people; they just like the Nike slogan, “Just Do It!”

No placards, no hyperbole and no fanfare. Barisan Nasional is about getting things accomplished for the betterment of all Malaysians.  They have shown threw their actions that making promise that cannot be fulfilled does more harm than good.  That is why Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Razak has taken a more pragmatic approach.

Even in the run up to the 14th general election (GE14), you do not see Prime Minister veering of the course that he has set.  He prefers to take the steady path towards Malaysia’s economic prosperity than offering sweets to the rakyat just to pick up extra votes.

The beauty of his Najib and Barisan Nasional’s approach towards building the economy is that Malaysians can see the results.

As they say; the proof is in the pudding.  No need to come up with a new promise every fortnight.

Prime Minister Najib and Barisan Nasional have a plan; and that plan is action speaks louder than words!
