If Pakatan can’t trust each other, how can we trust them to lead nation?

“Given the events which are taking place in Pakatan Harapan, it is of no surprise that PAS does not trust them.  In fact, if Pakatan can’t trust each other; how can Malaysians trust them with the nation?”

The Malaysian Observer

If Pakatan Harapan is having all types of trust issues among themselves; how can they expect Malaysians to trust them with the nation?

Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali went behind DAP-led Pakatan’s back to try to pull PAS back into the Pakatan opposition camp even though DAP-led Pakatan issued an edict saying there was to be no contact with PAS.

It seems that Azmin knows that without PAS, not only will Pakatan have little chance in the next (GE14) general election, but there is a great possibility that he may be out as the Selangor Menteri Besar.

Not wanting to face that prospects of being jobless, Azmin Ali has for some time been trying to entice PAS back into the fold.

Again he has been doing this against the orders of the coalition.  Therefore, one has to ask; does the Selangor Menteri Besar have cart blanch to go against coalition wishes or are his actions systematic of how dysfunctional things really are in Pakatan Harapan?

Unfortunately for Azmin Ali and DAP-led Pakatan his effort has not provided the dividends that he had hoped; PAS has recently rebuffed DAP-led Pakatan’s overtures by stating that it never really wanted cooperation with their coalition.

Of course PAS saying no will do little to dissuade DAP-led Pakatan. They (PH) know that the general election is probably months away and still find themselves in desperate need of Malay votes.  As such, don’t be surprised if you hear about Azmin once again going against the coalition’s directive and try to coerce PAS into returning.

But Azmin Ali is not alone with it comes to running roughshod and doing one’s own thing in the DAP-led Pakatan opposition.  alone.

Recently, Latheefa Koya has come out and said that Rafizi Ramli was the architect behind the now infamous ‘Kajang Move’.

You can read the sordid details in the following link.

Latheefa had seemed to be willing to hold on to this info until Rafizi started to publically point the finger elsewhere.

It seems that Rafizi has not heard the expressions; Let sleeping dogs lie or don’t stir up the hornets’ nest!

With the combination of political backstabbing, breaking rank, infighting and airing out dirty laundry in the public; one has to wonder how a coalition in such disarray can ever hope to govern a country when it is very apparent that they do not have enough discipline to manage events within their own coalition.

Perhaps Datuk Seri Hadi Awang saying that PAS does not trust Pakatan Harapan due to the unfolding events in Pakatan and other issues PAS feels are important.
