Khalid gave a very credible and solid reason for his action while Suhaimi is going on the argument of win-win for all in this RM1.18 billion deal. It is a win for the land owners, who receive RM421 million. A win for the developers, who make profit of RM756 million. A win for Azmin, who receives RM500 million. And a win for whoever is supposed to take acton against Azmin and who will receive RM100 million to close the file and mark it NFA (No Further Action).
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, the ex-Menteri Besar of Selangor, has explained the Ijok land controversy in a lengthy interview with NST, which you can read here: Q&A: Khalid Ibrahim Tackles Controversial Ijok Land Deal.
Shuhaimi Shafiei, the political secretary to the current Selangor Menteri Besar, Azmin Ali, has tried to explain what really happened in the news report, which you can read below.
In short, Khalid saw that the land settlers cum land owners were being short-changed and he took back the land from the developers, while Azmin reversed that decision and gave the land back to the developers even though they had failed to deliver and had challenged Khalid’s decision in court and had lost.

Yes, Azmin already met that party in London very recently to negotiate the ‘NFA’ for a fee of RM100 million. But then these Barisan Nasional buggers went and made big deal out of this Ijok land deal and turned it into Azmin’s undersea tunnel — and now that RM100 million ‘NFA’ deal may no longer be possible or it may now cost more than RM100 million because another few parties will need to get dragged into the deal.
By the way, Suhaimi is Azmin’s bagman and Azmin’s proxy for the Selangor sand-mining deals. Malaysia Today once published documents with Suhaimi’s approval and signature on a sand-mining application but at that time no one was really so concerned about it and said that PKR may be corrupt but it is still the lesser of the two evils. Malaysia Today argued that this so-called ‘lesser evil’ will grow and one day it will become a huge evil. And Malaysia Today has now been proven right.
Who did Azmin meet in London recently to negotiate the RM100 million NFA? Well, if you play nicely I might tell you who it was. In the meantime you will have to just sit and wait until I get into the mood to talk more. Nevertheless, while the Penang Undersea Tunnel scandal is going to bring down Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, this Ijok land scandal is going to bring down Menteri Besar Azmin Ali.
Sheesh…the post of Selangor Menteri Besar is so cursed or 诅咒. It looks like every Selangor Menteri Besar since Harun Idris ends up in some sort of controversy — even though later it was proven that Khalid was not guilty of what they had accused him of and he was actually a victim of fitnah. And now it is Azmin’s turn to take the fall.
