
A group that allegedly left WARISAN today is not made up of officially registered party members, claims a party insider.
According to him, the group comprises individuals who themselves admitted that their applications had not received official approval.
In a report, the group’s head, Awang Salleh Makmud, was quoted as saying they lost faith in the leadership at division and state levels.
“After a heart-to-heart meeting with other members, we have decided to stop our support for the Warisan party,” he said.

“They are not official party members, they said so themselves” said the insider.
According to a news report, some 12 individuals from four branches in Kota Belud held a press conference, saying another 500 people from WARISAN would soon join them.

“Many of the branches in Kota Belud have yet to be officially registered. We have not heard any news from the headquarters on the status of these branches and their members despite submitting the papers over a year ago,” he reportedly said.
