TTF: Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been in talks with both Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Ku Li) and Tan Sri Rais Yatim regarding the question of national succession. The trio discussed separately the possibility of either Razaleigh or Raiz being named the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia and Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali, the deputy. On the 29th of May 2018, I wrote the following (in orange):
These delegates – those aligned with Khairy Jamaluddin and Dato’ Seri Mohamed Hasan – will be offered millions to make sure Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin lose their party positions. Assuming the plan works, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah will be elected party president and told to open an invitation for Mahathir to return.
The minute that happens, both Mahathir and Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali will announce the crossover of 47 Pakatan Harapan MPs from PPBM, PKR, Warisan and Amanah into UMNO. The crossover will result in Barisan Nasional making a spectacular comeback as ruling coalition and leave Lim Kit Siang and gang foaming in the mouth. Now, if you do not believe a word I’m saying, just ask Dato’ Nik Azmi Nik Daud – Razaleigh’s nephew – if I’m telling you the truth.
Then, just yesterday, I wrote:
Ku Li doesn’t need to tell us that he’s willing to coexist peacefully with Mahathir (see news item below). This half-past-six prince of Kelantan struck a secret deal with Mahathir two weeks ago and agreed to contest the UMNO presidency. In the interim, Mahathir is busy weakening the party by discouraging tycoons from funding its cause.
The Prime Minister hopes that delegates, deprived of funds, will become fed up and rally behind any candidate seen friendly with government. Then, once UMNO is firmly in Razaleigh’s clutches, the Prime Minister will orchestrate the crossover of Pakatan MPs and tell Ku Li to step down as party president by 2020.
Mahathir is aware that Ku Li is an arrogant prick who may just refuse to step down. I mean, we’re talking a guy who, together with his nephew, Bul (Nik Azmi), is willing to drag Sami’s all the way from India and pay them thousands of ringgit to offer good tidings from Lord Krishna and the Gods of heaven. These Sami’s usually get Bul and Ku Li all wet and exited over prospects of the former being made “the next” Prime Minister of Malaysia and actually believe that the Gods in heaven want Ku Li to guide mankind.
Mahathir is aware of this.
That explains Rais, who is simply in PPBM to make sure that the Kelantan prick – I mean, Prince – agrees to the plan of succession. Under the circumstances, should Ku Li win the UMNO presidency but refuses to agree that either Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali or Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman be made deputy premier, Rais would step in to the limelight and be sworn in as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Mahathir has his moles in UMNO who support the plan.
PUTRAJAYA: Tan Sri Rais Yatim is the latest member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia.
The former Umno supreme council member and federal minister received his membership card from party chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at Pribumi’s buka puasa event here.
The announcement came as no surprise as Rais had been critical of Barisan Nasional, particularly in the lead up to the 14th General Election.
As a result of his criticisms, the 76-year-old was sacked from Umno, together with other vocal critics Tun Daim Zainuddin and Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz.
