It’s time the Malays took charge

TTF: Dear Malays,

Picture this – you’re walking along a bazaar with your eight year old when suddenly, he spots a remote controlled toy helicopter. Now, seeing that the RM800 unit is not within your means, you tell your son that he just can’t have the toy because it’d put a strain on the family budget.

Tell me, do you think your eight year old would understand?

Chances are, he’d cry and tell you of this kid in school whose father bought him a RM1,000 remote controlled plane. He’d probably go home sulking, thinking that his friend’s father loved his friend more than you loved him. Call it the rites of passage, call it whatever you will – these reactions are quite typical in a kids journey to preadolescence.

Now, do you know at which stage Pakatan supporters are today?

They’re more or less like the eight year old I just described. These buggers want everything without giving two hoots what it means to nation building or the economy. Despite the administration of Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak striving in earnest to balance the national budget, they just want that that free toll or that free education the opposition coalition promised them.

Yes, like an eight year old who hasn’t a clue how the economy works, these people are convinced that the government has the capacity to provide everything free short of the money they pay for their underwear. People like Lim Kit Siang, Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli have successfully turned their supporters into a bunch of ignorant fools who can’t tell the difference between fact and fiction.

Sadly, the vast majority of these fools are Chinese and Indians, the very Chinese and Indians who spent decades claiming that the Malays were a lazy and ignorant breed. Isn’t it ironical how they themselves are now the ignorant ones? Take a look at how these guys go berserk just seeing a picture depicting a ballot box next to a taxi – ask them , and they’ll tell you that the box is full of ballots being smuggled into Putrajaya by Najib.

Seriously, it’s about time you guys realise that you do not need the Chinese and Indians to survive. All you need to do is unite against Pakatan before laying down some stringent terms to the ignorant. No matter how hard you campaign, the majority of Chinese and Indians will never see you for what you truly are or the fact that the very Pakatan they’re supporting has no legitimate issue whatsoever against the government.

News item from MMO:

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan today pointed out “contradictions” within Pakatan Harapan (PH) after the coalition’s chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad defended the toll systems that were implemented during his administration.

In a statement, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said that while PH had promised to abolish tolls, Dr Mahathir’s recent remarks appeared to contradict this pledge.

“Tun Mahathir himself justified why tolls are necessary and he even went on to say that toll charges in Malaysia are one of the cheapest in the world,” he said.

“Such conflicts and contradiction within Pakatan Harapan will eventually lead to a perfect storm in the coalition. At the end of the day, it will be the people of this country that will suffer from this,” he added.

Abdul Rahman also urged people not to be “fooled” by the “fake promises” made by PH.

Dr Mahathir made the remarks during a policy talk on Facebook earlier today, in response to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who had called the former the “father of all tolls”.

“The vast majority of the tolled concessions with favourable terms to concessionaires were contracted during Tun Mahathir’s era as the prime minister,” Abdul Rahman said.
