Jasmine Crockett Unleashes Profanity at Supreme Court After Losing Texas District

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) sharply criticized the U.S. Supreme Court after it temporarily allowed Texas’ newly redrawn congressional districts to remain in effect, using explicit language to condemn the decision and the broader redistricting efforts tied to the 2026 midterm elections.

Per Fox News, Crockett framed the Court’s order as part of a coordinated political strategy, accusing President Donald Trump and Republican-led state governments of manipulating electoral maps to entrench power.

“Obviously, Trump is still doing his bidding with these state Houses and state Senates and governor’s mansions to try to rig the system,” Crockett said in a video published Sunday on her YouTube channel.

“Kudos to Indiana for saying f— you. Kudos to California for saying we’re going to fight back.”

She extended that criticism directly to the nation’s highest court while referencing internal disagreement among the justices.

“Definitely kudos to the Trump justice who wrote the 160-page opinion denouncing what took place in Texas and f— you to the Supreme Court for what they did as well as, you know, we’ll see what happens in some other places,” she said.

The remarks followed a December Supreme Court order that kept Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s revised congressional maps in place ahead of the November elections.

The redistricting plan is projected to create as many as five additional Republican-held House seats.

The new maps also redraw Crockett’s district, placing her outside its boundaries—an outcome that preceded her announcement of a U.S. Senate campaign shortly after the Court’s ruling.

Similar redistricting battles have unfolded elsewhere. In California, Gov. Gavin Newsom advanced a November ballot initiative aimed at creating five additional Democratic-leaning congressional districts.

In Indiana, however, the Republican-controlled state Senate declined to move forward with a proposed map that would have produced two new GOP seats.

Crockett also used the video to renew calls for structural changes to the Supreme Court, citing her involvement with the Court Reform Now Task Force in 2024.

She highlighted proposals such as term limits for justices and expanding the size of the Court.

“I just feel like there are certain spots on the Supreme Court that were illegitimately gotten for sure,” Crockett said.

“So, I think if we’re going to shore up our democracy, we have to first start by shoring up the checks and balances. And so, that starts with the Supreme Court.”
