Lawyer Matthias Chang, once credited for his joint role in exposing the 1MDB scandal to foreign authorities, has come down hard on Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and Health Director Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham over what Matthias dubbed was a “scam bigger than 1MDB.”
Calling both Khairy and Noor Hisham “scumbags” and zeroing out Noor Hisham as a “bast*rd and voodoo scientist who is trying to shift the blame on others,” the lawyer claimed that the 1MDB scandal was only about “corruption, money laundering and money,” whereas a Covid-19 scandal Khairy and Noor Hisham are said to be involved in has “f*cked up, scr*wed up and jeopardized our lives.”
It appears as if Matthas is suggesting that Pfizer Malaysia obtained approval for the import and use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine based on an agreement with BioNTech Germany (that produces the Comirnaty vaccine on its own) because the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine had yet to be developed.
For the record, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is the result of a joint venture research initiative between Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE, two unrelated entities that agreed on the 17th of March 2020 to a letter of intent regarding the co-development and distribution (excluding China) of a potential mRNA-based coronavirus vaccine aimed at preventing COVID-19 infection.

“We have been given an experimental vaccine,” he said, adding that clinical trials were still ongoing overseas and would only be completed in 2023.
“Don’t you think it’s about time we stopped the blo*dy comedy, ‘wayang kulit’?
“And (the) lawyers, activists (and) NGOs, don’t keep on emphasizing on Ivermectin, you are barking up the wrong tree.
“I’ve given enough ammunition right…these bast*rds, they don’t even understand the science, they pretend to be scientists.
“I challenge now openly, once again, Dr Adiba Kamarulzaman, the Tan Sri whatever from Mercy, challenge me!!”

According to Matthias, documentation proves clearly that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is an unapproved vaccine and is only authorized for EUA.
A quick check via Pfizer’s official site confirms that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has indeed not been approved or licensed by the FDA but has been authorized for emergency use by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) for use in individuals 16 years of age and older.
“We have been conned. Why did NPRA (give) conditional registration for the company called Pfizer Malaysia based on a vaccine that has not been in existence?
“They were giving approval to a name, a label, Comirnati. Comirnaty is owned by BioNTech Germany (not Pfizer United States), hence the license and approval is given to that company, BioNTech Gernamy, as per the letter dated 23rd August 2021,” Matthias said.
Matthias added that in submitting to the FDA and the CDC, Pfizer has to conduct clinical trials with a starting date of 29th April 2020 and an estimated study conclusion date of 2nd May 2023.
