LTTE: Lim Kit Siang seems to be ‘criminalising’ PDRM instead of addressing alleged terrorist threats by his men

“What would you expect from a man who spent the better half of his sordid career breathing more life into Islamophobia by casting very negative light onto Islamic related issues?”

I hereby confer The Honourary Infaliable Leader-Supremo of the DAP, Lim Kit Siang, the title “Apek Mabuk Amat Hipokrit,” or AMAH. And that’s one AMAH too many we’re talking about here, the other being his son, the Honourary Infaliable Secretary General of the DAP, Lim Guan Eng.

In Malay, there is a saying, “siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas.” Well, it looks like someone stuffed a handful of cili padi into AMAH’s mouth and is causing him to moan and groan in disarray. Suddenly, he remembers Pakatan Harapan’s pre-electoral promise to do away with SOSMA. Suddenly, he’s playing the same tune he played when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad stepped on his tail, picked him up and stuffed him into Kamunting.

Yes, suddenly, we’re back to 1987 Lim Kit Siang all over again.

And suddenly, everything the Malaysian Royal Police (PDRM) seems to be doing “doesn’t make sense.” But when people not aligned with PH got investigated and (or) questioned under SOSMA and (or) the Sedition Act – which PH also promised to repeal – AMAH was nowhere to be seen or heard. When the Malay Muslims cried bucket-loads of tears fuming that DAP leaders and supporters were insulting Islam and the Muslim Prophet, AMAH was too busy being AMAH. And today, just because four DAP leaders are being investigated under SOSMA on suspicion of supporting, financing, inciting and promoting LTTE activity to revive the terrorist organisation, AMAH is pissed.

Well, if that’s really the case, then AMAH should take a piss. I mean, what gives him the right to question the motives of PDRM when the immediate concern is national security, not the means of arrest? Being the so-called statesman he claims to be, his priority should have been to allay fears related to the “clear and present danger” posed by the “highly suspicious activities and transactions” involving his own men. Instead, he’s focused on protecting the DAP’s image by training his guns at PDRM to shift conversations away from his men.

Just who the hell does he think he is?

Does AMAH not know that his men’s actions amount to waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong? Are we to wait for attacks on the Sri Lankan Consulate or members of public before jumping into action to safeguard national security? I for one am completely supportive of PDRM and am against any attempts to repeal SOSMA. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t even mind it if the internal Security Act (ISA) is revived provided that the act is refined to properly categorise crimes. Has AMAH even once taken to public to address the severity of the crimes his men stand accused of committing?

No.
