MACC confirms leaked tunnel papers legit

Forget the Penang Undersea Tunnel Scandal, Shukri Abdull has refused to reveal the outcome of the MACC’s investigations into claims that it was Ambiga Sreenevasan who told Clare Rewcastle Brown of the RM90 million Najib was alleged to have paid PAS “top echelons.” Source (pic): TTF files

Following is an article adapted from The Star Online complete with responses by TTF (in blue):

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has lodged a police report over leaked investigation papers in relation to the case involving the Penang undersea tunnel project.

TTF: A source has revealed that the MACC sought investigations by the police into the said leak, meaning, the MACC acknowledged that the documents RPK published were authentic.

But let’s forget the source for the moment.

Considering that the documents published were alleged to be excerpts of an investigation paper into the scandalous RM6.3 billion Penang Undersea Tunnel Project – dubbed also the biggest kickback-for-land fraud scheme in Malaysian history – only the MACC would know if the documents were legit.

So it wouldn’t make sense for the agency to seek police investigations into the authenticity of the said documents now, would it?

Doing so is akin to me asking the police to investigate if indeed I had sex with my wife last night – assuming, of course, I were to be married, which isn’t quite the case.

So the only thing the MACC can ask the police to do is:

a. to investigate RPK for publishing forgeries, or

b. to investigate RPK for slander and libel, or

c. to investigate how RPK got a hold of the said documents.

We can immediately strike a and b out given that the MACC would never have hesitated to clear its name in public by denouncing the documents RPK published to be fake.

That can only means the documents were indeed legit, which explains why Dato’ Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull is as quiet as that guy in Hospital Kepala Hotak Hang who’s suffering from Laryngitis and the reason the MACC waited after Semenyih to lodge a report.

The Star Online report continued…

Political blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin allegedly made an expose based on the leaked documents.

TTF: As I have shown you, it’s no longer an allegation.

But never mind, let’s go with it being an allegation…

The Star Online report continued…

The papers alleged that several DAP leaders, including Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, received kickbacks from the contractor.

MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki confirmed that a police report was lodged on Thursday.

He, however, declined to elaborate on the issue.

TT: Of course he cannot elaborate on the issue.

Doing so would be suicide for the MACC given that the agency would have to explain why charges weren’t brought against Lim Guan Eng and his band of criminals for having conspired with owners of the project SPV to derive billions in illegal funds through massive kickback schemes.

The Star Online report continued…

On Friday, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad rubbished the graft claims.

“He (Raja Petra) is a liar and you still believe him?” he told reporters after launching the Home Ownership campaign in conjunction with the Malaysia Property Expo 2019 at KLCC.

TTF: On the 1st of March 2019, TTF posted:
