Mahathir is not giving up on his efforts to delay or stall the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on the Bank Negara (BNM) RM30b forex scandal.
This is his THIRD attempt to delay the RCI.
First was when they objected in the RCI. Second was when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad filed in High Court to remove the members,
He has now field to appeal his loss today in High Court today to remove two persons from the RCI on the flimsy reason that they had also been on the panel to determine if an RCI was needed.
There has not been any indication from them that these two persons are biased but it appears to be just an excuse for Mahathir to stall the RCI as long as he can.
The case is now at the Court of Appeal – just like when Lim Guan Eng (Tokong) lost his first case to declare the MACC act as unconstitutional, he subsequently appealed and this further delayed his corruption trial.
Tun M is doing the same thing as Tokong who managed to delay his corruption trial by more than a year now.
