A non-governmental organisation on Monday lodged a police report claiming that the prosecution against former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is unconstitutional and reeks of conspiracy.

Pergerakan Malaysiaku Tanahairku (PMT) president, Raggie Jessy, said he believes that Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) chief commissioner Datuk Seri Mohd. Shukri Abdull, former central bank governor Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz and Attorney-General Tommy Thomas were trying to set up Najib as a criminal.

“I’ve voiced out my suspicion of them since June but that was just a suspicion. Judging by how they are prosecuting Najib now, supported by evidence and articles I put on my blog, I now believe there is a conspiracy,” said Jessy after making the police report here.

Jessy writes at The Third Force blog.

According to him, PMT is an organisation meant to spread awareness on the ideology of the first prime minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman.

“We echo Tunku’s belief and vision for Malaysia which is a harmonious multi-racial country.

“But is that where our country is heading right now? There are more racial sentiments being played ever since Pakatan Harapan became the government.

“Not only that, even their  ‘rule of law’ is questionable,” said Jessy, in reference to his claim that Shukri was not even sworn in as chief commissioner when he decided to prosecute Najib.
