UMNO Member of Parliament Tan Sri Noh Omar has resigned as the chairman of the Malaysia International Shipping Corporation (MISC) Berhad.
According to a report, MISC confirmed that Noh made the decision after discussing it with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
“Tan Sri Noh Omar wishes the MISC board and it management all the best in spearheading the company to greater heights.
“Likewise, the board of directors of MISC wishes Tan Sri Noh Omar the very best in his future undertakings and endeavours,” the statement reportedly read.

PETALING JAYA: UMNO Member of Parliament Tan Sri Noh Omar has resigned as the chairman of the Malaysia International Shipping Corporation (MISC) Berhad.
According to a report (MMO), MISC confirmed that Noh made the decision after discussing it with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Noh was only recently appointed to the post.
His date of appointment was on the 1st of June 2020, while his resignation reportedly took effect yesterday.
“Tan Sri Noh Omar made the decision to tender his resignation upon discussion with the prime minister of Malaysia.
“Tan Sri Noh Omar wishes the MISC board and it management all the best in spearheading the company to greater heights.
“Likewise, the board of directors of MISC wishes Tan Sri Noh Omar the very best in his future undertakings and endeavours,” the statement reportedly read.
