Pakatan Harapan: When the corrupt speak of curbing corruption

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad held a bilateral meeting with Austrian leader, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz at the Federal Chancellery, here today.

Dr Mahathir, who arrived yesterday from London, is set to share the country’s efforts in curbing corruption with the international community during his visit to Austria at the 10th General Conference and Annual Meeting of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (IAACA) tomorrow.

TTF: I’m still finding it cryptically ironic that a man who, in the eighties and nineties, led the country into the biggest corruption scandals we’ve ever seen, is sharing with others his efforts to curb corruption.

If indeed Mahathir is serious about curbing corruption, why is he not willing to conduct RCI’s into the eighties and nineties Manminco, Makuwasa, Forex, Perwaja, BMF and BBMB scandals?

Why is he not interested in recovering the RM200 over billion that was looted from the country during his previous tenure as Prime Minister?
