According to a news report, the area has not been placed under an enhanced MCO, although measures being taken are similar to those taken at the Chow Kit market.
It is understood that the Health Ministry conducted mass Covid-19 screenings on residents living around the Pudu market area, though results of those screenings are yet to be known.
It is understood that authorities have erected barbed wires around a specific region within the Pudu area.

On the 5th of May 2020, authorities placed Taman Wilayah and Taman Desa Bakti in Selayang and parts of the Chow Kit area along Jalan Raja Bot two areas under the SMCO.
It is understood that the Health Ministry conducted mass Covid-19 screenings on residents living around the Pudu market area, though results of those screenings are yet to be known.
On Chow Kit and Selanyang, barbed wires were reportedly put to tighten the movement of residents.
It is further understood that authorities have also erected barbed wires around a specific region within the Pudu area.
