#TTFCovid19: Deputy Health Minister I Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and Perak EXCO Razman Zakaria will be charged with breaching the government imposed movement control order (MCO) tomorrow morning.

According to a news report, the duo will be charged at the Gerik Magistrate’s Court, with Perak police chief Datuk Razarudin Husain confirming the matter.

On Thursday, Razman said he was ready to face the music for defying the Movement Control Order (MCO), adding that the (then) ongoing investigation would not affect his daily schedule as an Exco and the Gunung Semanggol assemblyman.

Razman has so far also apologised to Malaysians after pictures of him having a meal with Noor Azmi at a gathering in Lenggong went viral on social media.

PETALING JAYA: Deputy Health Minister I Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali and Perak EXCO Razman Zakaria will be charged with breaching the government imposed movement control order (MCO) tomorrow morning.

According to a news report, the duo will be charged at the Gerik Magistrate’s Court, with Perak police chief Datuk Razarudin Husain confirming the matter.

“It is unknown if Razman’s son Muhammad Rifaat will also be similarly charged, nor others who were also present at the event,” the report read.

Dr Noor Azmi had reportedly uploaded several photographs on Facebook earlier this month of his visit to a religious school in Perak, with the matter going viral with online users reportedly claiming that he had breached the MCO.

Muhammad Rifaat had previously claimed both he and his father were not fined or arrested by the police over the lunch gathering, explaining that they went home after police recorded their statements.

Razman posted on his Facebook account that they were served “kampung” dishes during the event. Photos shown there were between 20 to 30 people seated together on the floor eating.
