#TTFCovid19: State executive councillor (exco) Razman Zakaria is ready to face the music for defying the Movement Control Order (MCO) after pictures of him having a meal at a gathering in Lenggong went viral on social media.

Razman said the investigation was still ongoing and had not affected his daily schedule as an Exco and the Gunung Semanggol assemblyman.

“(My) programmes will continue as usual. If a leader does not go to the ground, he will not know what is going on and issues can’t be settled. I will follow the SOPs.

“I can’t postpone my programmes and with what is happening now, I believe I should carry on my duty as usual. If everyone sits at home, who will solve the problems?” he said.

IPOH: State executive councillor (exco) Razman Zakaria is ready to face the music for defying the Movement Control Order (MCO) after pictures of him having a meal at a gathering in Lenggong went viral on social media.

“Whatever the outcome (of the police investigations), I will accept it. That is their field. The cops have asked me what happened and now let them investigate.

“They (police) have their standard operating procedures (SOPs),” he told reporters after visiting the Ipoh Central Kitchen (ICK) at Simpang Tiga Restaurant here today.

Razman said the investigation was still ongoing and had not affected his daily schedule as an Exco and the Gunung Semanggol assemblyman.

Yesterday, Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said Razman’s role as an Exco member would not be affected pending the outcome of police investigations.

On Sunday, Razman who is in charge of education, human capital, non-governmental organisations (NGO) and civil society, had his statement taken at the Bagan Serai district police station for defying the MCO.

Razman has so far also apologised to Malaysians after pictures of him having a meal with the Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali at a gathering in Lenggong went viral on social media.
