A police report (see pic below) was lodged yesterday at the District Police Headquarters in Petaling Jaya seeking an investigation into a video depicting former MACC head Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed (hereinafter referred to as “Kassim”).

The video depicting Kassim that went viral

The video, currently making its rounds via the social media, features a very candid Kassim laying bare a conspiracy involving the Royal Malaysian Customs to put the fix on former premier Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak (hereinafter referred to as “Najib”) and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor (hereinafter referred to as “Rosmah”).

Kassim alleged that Customs officials, furious that Najib refused to meet them over a RM3 billion corruption probe, leaked a Customs document in bad faith to create the impression that Rosmah had purchased a diamond ring worth RM24 million.

Kassim added that the leak was with male fide intent as a second document that would have proven the ring was returned to sender was deliberately withheld by the said officials.

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) was asked to conduct investigations into the matter and initiate action pursuant to law against parties named in the report should crimes have been committed.
