A  Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) supreme council meeting which was expected to discuss the sacking of two founding members, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, has been postponed.

According to a report, PPBM working secretary Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya said the meeting had been deferred to a later date and supreme council members would be notified.

Mahathir and Muhyiddin are currenly leading separate factions in Bersatu, with Muhyiddin being in the government block and Mahathir in the opposition.

Should Mahathir and Mukhriz be sacked, PPBM would likely be split badly and could see the exodus of a number of party leaders and a significant number of members.
