Why is Hilman suddenly willing to ‘tell all’ when yesterday, it was “let the police handle the matter?”
Is it to shift public attention to this new ‘spat’ between him and Haziq so that people will forget to ask Azmin if he has lodged a police report?
Is this all a theatrical display by team Azmin to make it appear as if “the police are doing something about the sex claims,” when in fact, the police can hardly do anything given that Azmin and Haziq have yet to lodge reports against one another?
Did it occur to you that the real investigations will be focused on Haziq’s and Hilman’s petty claims against one another and not the possibility that Azmin may actually have committed sexual acts against the order of nature?
SHAH ALAM: Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali seems to be as dodgy a character as his aide is.
A while ago, the-man-they-now-say-is-Anwar-Ibrahim’s-political-‘trueborn’, Azmin, claimed the police have yet to contact him over the homosexual sex videos depicting a ‘duplicate Azmin’ – or a Japanese clone – littered all over the social media.
“I understand my political secretary Muhammad Hilman Idham lodged a police report on this case this morning and for me, that is good enough,” he said.
Azmin made it seem as if he was willing to cooperate with the police and was sitting at home, eagerly “awaiting a call” from Bukit Aman so that he could burn rubber to get there and assist in any way he could.
However, he knows as well as I do that the crux of the issue isn’t his ‘willingness’ to assist PDRM, but his own failure to lodge a police report over Mohd Haziq Abdul Aziz’s claim that the two of them had sex.
Yes, Azmin is attempting to shift the spotlight onto PDRM.
He knows that the police lack the capacity to conduct an in-depth, out-and-out probe into Haziq’s claims against him as neither he nor Haziq have made official complaints against one another in terms pursuant to law.
And neither has Haziq ever accused Azmin’s pol-sec, Hilman, of committing sexual acts against the order of nature.
Which is why, the idea of Hilman lodging a report ‘on behalf’ of Azmin is a big joke and a complete waste of time, as the onus is on Azmin, not his political secretary or his milkman, to do so.
It’s all a question of locus standi.
That effectively makes the whole “Haziq vs Azmin media trial” a sham and a mockery of the highest degree and Hilman the biggest media clown since Lim Guan Eng first opened his mouth to discuss the country’s economy.
And it gets better.
Yesterday, Haziq issued a Facebook confession claiming that Hilman had asked him to deny Azmin’s role in the sex videos.
When the media met Hilman, he admitted to meeting Haziq prior to the confession but declined to comment if he had asked Haziq to deny anything, saying, “I had given everything to the police.”
But that was as big a lie as Guan Eng’s RM1 trillion debt claim.
Truth is, Hilman gave to the police details of Haziq’s claims against Azmin – which, in the strictest sense, is really is none of his business – and not details of Haziq’s claims against him.
Then, when Haziq lodged an actual police report against Hilman claiming that the latter had threatened him, it suddenly occurred to Hilman to tell PDRM the ‘whole truth’ by lodging a counter report to rubbish Haziq’s claims.
And all of a sudden, Hilman seems all too ‘willing’ to tell newsmen everything despite previously telling them that the matter was best “left with the police to handle.”
Why the sudden turnaround?
Is it to shift public attention to this new ‘spat’ between him and Haziq so that people will forget to ask Azmin if he has lodged a police report?
