Azmin pointed to the idea that the sex clips were the doing of certain PKR members with links to the Philippines.
It was later discovered that Anwar’s political secretary, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, was in the Philippines at the time the sex clips went viral. I am made to understand that Haziq was on his way to meet Farhash before being nabbed at KLIA by the police.
This isn’t the first time Anwar, his family members or his men have been linked to individuals in the Philippines.
On the 19thof November 2015, PKR MP Nurul Izzah Anwar was censured by netizens following the distribution of pictures showing her together with Jacel Kiram, daughter of the self-proclaimed Sultan of Sulu, Sultan Jamalul Kiram III.
Kirtan was behind the 2013 invasion of Lahad Datu in Sabah.

Earlier today, Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali gave his strongest hint yet that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim was behind the video clips allegedly featuring the former in sexual acts against the order of nature with Santubong PKR Youth Chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz.
Reiterating that it was an “inside job,” Azmin, who holds the post of PKR deputy president and is featured in multiple stock photos standing beside Haziq, claimed the controversy was played up to kill his political career.
“It is aimed to bar my advancement and my performance in the government and politics. I am confident that the people can see who is culprit behind this episode.
“I feel its best that the rakyat on decide this matter. It is proven that the perception to foresee who is involved in this conspiracy and slander is growing stronger,” he said.

On Saturday, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) apprehended Haziq at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) as the lad was about to board a flight to Manila.
Speculation was rife that Anwar’s political secretary, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak, was missing in action at the time the Sodomy 2019 sex clips went viral.
It was later discovered that Farhash had indeed been in the Philippines all along. I am made to understand that Haziq was on his way to meet Farhash there before being nabbed at KLIA by the police.
Farhash has since denied allegations that he went MIA to plan the sexpose from abroad and claims he was in the Philippines on vacation.
He did, however, tell Azmin to resign as PKR deputy president should the evidence against the latter be “overwhelming.”
But Anwar had previously told newsmen something different altogether. According to the PKR president, pressuring Azmin to resign was a bad idea as it “would not have a positive impact on the leadership of PKR and the country.”
The contradicting positions taken by Anwar and Farhash point to the Philippines link Azmin spoke of and could well be tied to Anwar’s associations with a subversive group there.

As the story goes, on the 16thof July 2012, Anwar flew to Jakarta to meet the founder of the Philippines based Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), Nur Misuarito, to seek his help to win the 13thMalaysian general election (GE13).
The duo met at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Jakarta before meeting again in Manila on 4th August 2012 to finalise and seal a collaborative agreement.
The agreement is said to have been the precursor to the Lahad Datu invasion in which Kiram demanded that Sabah be returned to the Philippines and placed under the control of Manila.
