Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s RM7 million money laundering trial will only start after her corruption case involving the solar hybrid project is completed.
High Court judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan today set Dec 2 for mention of the case.
He fixed the date after deputy public prosecutor Poh Yih Tinn said the prosecution expected to wrap up the solar hybrid project case when hearing resumes on Oct 5.
Rosmah pleaded not guilty to 12 charges of money laundering in 2018 amounting to RM7,097,750 and five charges of failing to declare her income to the Inland Revenue Board for 2014 to 2018.

He fixed the date after deputy public prosecutor Poh Yih Tinn said the prosecution expected to wrap up the solar hybrid project case when hearing resumes on Oct 5.
The prosecution is expected to call two more witnesses for the corruption case next week.
Rosmah, the wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is on trial for soliciting RM187.5 million from businessman Saidi Abang Samsudin to help him secure the RM1.25 billion project for 369 schools in the interiors of Sarawak.
She is also facing two charges of receiving RM6.5 million cash from Saidi.
Poh said the prosecution was confident of finishing its case next week or latest by November.
