Sabah election: One government, three coalitions, 17 collisions – and Muhyiddin expects Sabahans to trust him?

In Sabah, we have yet another mess, with Perikatan Nasional, Barisan Nasional and PBS partnering in the upcoming state election under a brand new banner, the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS). Source (pic): TTF Files

“In Sabah, we now have two federal coalitions sitting under a third banner (GRS), all claiming to be pro-government, all claiming to be on a mission to “save Sabah,” but each using its own logo and with 17 head-on collisions between PBS, BN and PN, and not to mention, disagreements on who gets to be Chief Minister”

The federal administration, once referred to as the “Perikatan Nasional (PN) led government,” is actually no longer that.

Ever since Barisan Nasional (BN) announced its unwillingness to be a part of the coalition, now registered, the Federal government is technically a “PN-BN led government.”

This is particularly so since PAS is with PPBM and two other entities in Perikatan Nasional and therefore have a commanding influence in government.

But wait…PAS is also with PPBM and BN in Muafakat Nasional, and the three are all in government and collectively hold a larger representation in terms of ministerial portfolios.

So it should be a “Muafakat Nasional led government,” not a “Perikatan Nasional led government” or a PN-BN led government.”

So why is Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin still referring to the mess as a “Perikatan Nasional led government?”

Because he wants to get rid of UMNO eventually?

Never mind that.

In Sabah, we have yet another mess, with Perikatan Nasional, Barisan Nasional and PBS partnering in the upcoming state election under a brand new banner, the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

However, since GRS isn’t registered, all three parties will be using their respective logos, which sure as hell is weird since both Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional conform to the “Muafakat Nasional led federal government.”

Anyway, we now have two federal coalitions sitting under a third banner (GRS) in Sabah, all claiming to be pro-government, all claiming to be on a mission to “save Sabah,” but each using its own logo and with 17 head-on collisions between PBS, BN and PN, and not to mention, disagreements on who gets to be Chief Minister.

And Muhyiddin expects Sabahans to trust him?
