TANJUNG MALIM: Reports hitting the stands claim PKR Santubong youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz was arrested by police at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KIA) yesterday as he was about to board a flight.
According to Bernama, the arrest was confirmed by Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department director Datuk Huzir Mohamed.
In a nutshell, Haziq has come forward with an allegation that he had sex with Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali at a hotel in Sandakan where the Economic Affairs minister was staying.
The allegation, made via a “confessional video,” was backed by video clips featuring two individuals who are said to be identical looking to Haziq and Azmin engaged in sex acts against the order of nature.
This led to Haziq’s sacking from the Primary Industries Ministry where he served despite the vehement denials by PKR that the individual in the confessional video was him.
In 1998, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was able to tell for sure simply by looking at videos and pictures that Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim engaged in homosexual acts against the order of nature.
This led to Anwar’s media and court trials before the former deputy premier was dragged and thrown into jail.
Though guilty, the trial that led to his imprisonment was a complete circus, as Mahathir made absolutely sure that the prosecution carried the mattress on which Anwar had sex in and out of the courtroom every day under the scrutiny of media hounds.
Back then, Anwar was the first to be arrested given that it was he who lodged a police report denying his involvement in homosexual acts.
This time around, things are different.
