Source: Anwar, Rafizi are likely suspects in sex scandal

Rumours are swirling that the police are zeroing in on Anwar and Rafizi, though the authenticity of these rumours have yet to be ascertained. Source: TTF Files

PKR president Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim did not rule out the possibility of his deputy being asked to resign over allegations of the latter’s involvement in a homosexual clip.

Speaking to a press conference, Anwar’s response to a question by a reporter was just as baffling as Hamid Bador’s take was on the identities of individuals involved in some viral sex clips.

One minute, he said he was glad Azmin was not involved. The next minute, he told reporters that his deputy was not out of the woods yet.

A well-placed source told TTF that the “political leader” who is among suspects in the ongoing investigations related to the distribution of sex clips is none other than Anwar himself.

PETALING JAYA: PKR president Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim did not rule out the possibility of his deputy being asked to resign over allegations of the latter’s involvement in a homosexual clip.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference held at the PKR’s Central Leadership Council retreat in Port Dickson, Anwar welcomed a statement made by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador that the identities of the two men in the viral sex video could not be fully ascertained.

The video is said to feature Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and former Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz engaged in sexual acts against the order of nature.

Azmin, who currently serves as Minister of Economic Affairs, is said to be Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s blue-eyed boy and serves also as Anwar’s deputy in PKR.

Recently, Hamid Bador announced that the facial recognition process conducted on a number of sex videos could not confirm with absolute certainty who the individuals featured in them were.

To this, Anwar, who said PKR would not make any decisions until police investigations are complete, expressed ‘relief’ that Azmin wasn’t involved.

“While acknowledging that the police investigation is still ongoing and based on the latest development issued by the IGP, as the party’s president, I am glad to learn that Mohamed Azmin is not involved.”

When asked if Azmin would attend the retreat today after he didn’t turn up at the event’s launch last night, Anwar refused to respond.

“But he has a session tonight (at the retreat),” Anwar said.

Anwar’s response was just as baffling as Hamid Bador’s take was on the identities of the individuals involved in the sex clips.

One minute, he says he is glad Azmin was not involved. The next minute, he tells reporters that his deputy was not out of the woods yet.

He may just as well have called off the press conference as nothing he said made any sense.

Meanwhile, a well-placed source told TTF that the “political leader” who is among suspects in the ongoing investigations related to the distribution of sex clips is none other than Anwar himself.

Rumours are swirling that the police are zeroing in on Anwar and Rafizi, though the authenticity of these rumours have yet to be ascertained.
