Several reports have surfaced claiming that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is on his death bed after a botched heart surgery.

According to the reports, things went wrong when the hands of the doctor who performed the stent insertion procedure began “shaking.”

According to Japanese magazine Shukan Gendai, a Chinese medic who has sent to Pyongyang to treat Kim Jong Un had told them that a delay in the stent procedure has left the North Korean leader in a “vegetative state’.

Another report has claimed while attributing Senior Communist Party sources in Beijing, that the team was dispatched after a failed heart surgery on Kim but had arrived too late to save the North Korean leader.

News of a downturn in Kim Jong Un’s health began floating on the 15th of April 2020 after it was discovered that Kim had not attended the birth anniversary of his grandfather, Kim Il-sung.

One report claimed that the North Korean dictator was in poor health due to complications arising from obesity and excessive smoking.

On Saturday, Kim was absent from yet another important national holiday in North Korea. His absence from the Military Foundation Day further fuelled reports about his ill health.

The last time North Korea’s state media reported on Kim Jong-un’s whereabouts was when he presided over a meeting on the 11th of April 2020.

A report by Business Today read:

“Three anonymous sources had told Reuters that a team of doctors has been dispatched to North Korea from China on Thursday.

“According to Japanese magazine Shukan Gendai, a Chinese medic who has sent to Pyongyang to treat Kim Jong Un had told them that a delay in the stent procedure has left the North Korean leader in a “vegetative state’.
