The following are questions raised by the rakyat which Anwar doesn’t seem to know the answers to or care about:
Q1: Datuk Seri (DS), is it logical to use EPF savings as collateral for bank loans? Many are suffering because the government failed to reduce the cost of living as promised, and those affected only want to use their own savings to survive. If they don’t use their EPF savings now, they might not even last until the age of 55 to make withdrawals. Asking these people to obtain loans using their EPF savings as collateral is akin to charging them interest for using their own money in times of desperation. Does that make sense to you? Isn’t that cruel?
Anwar: (pin drop silence)
Q2: DS, you say that your daughter ‘s involvement as an advisor to the Prime Minister is ok as long as she is not paid a salary. But it is still nepotism, and her involvement makes it all the more easier to conceal a wrongdoing, assuming there is one. Besides, she is going to associate with people under the government’s payroll, and when these people do work for her, they are generally paid using the rakyat’s money. As a matter of fact, when she uses government facilities or goes on an official trip, the rakyat will probably foot the bill. Do you honestly think the rakyat is happy doing all this? Her appointment itself deprives more qualified individuals of a job opportunity. Does the logic escape you?
Anwar: (Anwar gives ‘green light’ for all ministers to appoint family members without salaries)

Q3: DS, you say you want to fight corruption. Yet, out of 30 Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament, you chose the only MP facing criminal charges as your deputy. Who is going to trust you? How do you expect investors to pump money into a country jointly administered by a crime suspect? Don’t you think Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s appointment increases the risk of corruption?
Anwar: Zahid is innocent until proven guilty (refuses to answer points raised).
Q4: DS, Pakatan Harapan promised to bring down the cost of living soon after the general election. But it has been over 100 days since you assumed power, and the cost of living is skyrocketing. The prices of chicken and eggs are still high, and their supply is worrisome. You have yet to announce a single policy or plan of action to subdue fears that the government doesn’t know what it is doing. When we ask the Minister of Economy, he simply gives us stupid answers and stupid suggestions. What’s going on?
Anwar: (pin drop silence)
Q5: DS, Kit Siang has uttered statements bordering on Islamophobia, and Ramasamy has uttered statements bordering on the sensitivities of the Malay-Muslims. Yet, nothing is done to them, but when a Malay-Muslim sportswoman said something deemed derogatory to the Indians, she was reprimanded. Now, we even have a movie suggesting that it is ok for a Malay to like pork or to convert to a religion other than Islam. Why are you silent?
Anwar: (pin drop silence)
Q6: DS, you have teamed up with the very person who jointly triggered the 2020 Sheraton Move to bring down a legitimately instituted government. You yourself tried to bring down past governments with your mumbo jumbo about “having numbers” and even once announced that the government would fall and that you would take over as Prime Minister. Your ways were questionable and probably frightened investors, and you are no stranger to street protests and wide-scale gatherings. So why is your government attacking Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang for wanting to bring down government through legitimate means? Does that not make you a hypocrite?
Anwar: (pin drop silence)
And the list goes on…
