#TTFCovid19: A man was arrested today and brought to the Malim police station in Melaka for injuring a policeman at a roadblock in the state.
The man, in his mid-fifties, had been remanded for four days beginning today (9th of April 2020) for slapping and hurling abuses towards a policeman during a roadblock along the Alor Gajah-Melaka-Jasin (AMJ) Highway near Malim Jaya.
Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Afzanizar Ahmad was quoted as saying the man, who was driving a Proton Iswara, was trailing an ambulance before being asked him to pull-over for trying to bypass the roadblock.
“A scuffle ensued when my man sustained injury on his left cheek and required treatment at the Melaka Hospital,” he said.

The incident is said to have happened at 1.30 pm yesterday.
