#TTFCovid19: Malaysia has recorded zero new cases in seven states and the Federal Territories (FT) of Putrajaya and Labuan, according to a news report hinged on data released by the Health Ministry.
Malaysia is among countries with the lowest death rates, averaging between 1:3 to 1:4 against the global tally since the pandemic began.
The government-imposed Movement Control Order (MCO) prevented exponential spikes in cases as witnessed in Italy, the United States and many other parts of the world since the MCO took effect and seems to be tapering off the rate of increase.
As of 6.18 pm today, total cases in Malaysia numbered at 5,182, with 110 new cases reported and one new death, bringing the overall death toll to 84.
