Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has brushed off MCA’s alleged “proof” that he lied about CRCC in relation to the Penang Undersea Tunnel project.
Yesterday, Wee Ka Siong claimed he had “solid proof” of Lim saying otherwise.
He provided proof in the form of Guan Eng’s open letter in Penang state publication Buletin Mutiara, and in several other different media interviews or speeches by Guan Eng to prove that Guan Eng did indeed confirm that CRCC was a shareholder of the SPV, and not just as a contractor.
In reply, Guan Eng then claimed that whatever he said before October 2013, is not as important or as relevant compared to the contractual agreement signed at the time.
Facepalm!!!
Basically after being shown concrete proof, Tokong now says that whatever he said before the contract was signed in Oct 2013 was not important as the terms were not finalized yet.

Dear Tokong, it IS important.
What you said in March and April 2013 was to defend against allegations that the Penang govt inappropriately awarded a mega-billion contract to a unqualified small company.
That was before May GE13 elections – thus you would have lied to the voters.
And more incredibly, you misled the people until the contract was signed. Nasi sudah jadi bubur.
Contract signed already, now you can say whatever you want and even claim that what you said before contract was signed is not important.
This kind of Tai-Chi, Ip Man also lose.
This deal is sounding more and more like abuse of power and a scam.
