“I no longer have a grouse with UMNO president Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi or any leader of any Muslim majority party.
“As a matter of fact, I congratulate Zahid for stating recently that his mission is to rebuild UMNO, meaning, he has Perjuangan Melayu at heart.
“Muslims need to work together towards unity and not be at war with one another.
“I congratulate Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his victory in Port Dickson.
“I congratulate Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on his appointment as Prime Minister of Malaysia.
“I reserve my right to criticise any leader constructively should I detect something amiss.
“But I also wish to make clear, that your political affiliations and (or) ambitions is no concern of mine, as my immediate concern is the damage the DAP is causing Islam, the ummah and the Monarchical Institution.
