THE THIRD FORCE
Pursuant to a notice delivered to Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng (in English, link below) via The Third Force on the 7th of March 2018 and a follow up notice (in Malay, link below) delivered to the same individuals via the same blog on the 9th of March 2018, a report was lodged today with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in Cyberjaya at 4 pm.
The report, the reasons for which were explicated and contextualised in detail via the aforementioned notices, has to do with fake news published by the Lim guan Eng led Penang state government via its official newsletter, Buletin Mutiara. The report also has to do with elements of libel and/or sedition that appears to be present in many of Guan Eng’s Facebook postings, a sample of which was extended to the MCMC for review.
